Licensed Clinical Psychologist employed full time to conduct psychological assessments for children and adolescents referred for cognitive and developmental delay, including autism spectrum disorder. Evaluate children using the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, Wechsler scales, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), other autism rating scales and measures, and adaptive functioning. Work closely with the San Diego Regional Center to assist in determining eligibility for Regional Center Services.

Contracted as a Licensed Child Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents referred for psychological, neuropsychological, educational, and developmental evaluations. 

Program Manager for Children’s Wellness Program at a residential treatment facility for children ages 6-13 in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting with severe emotional, traumatic, behavioral, cognitive, and social impairments. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for Assessment Clinic and acted as the Interim Assessment Supervisor of the Assessment Clinic. Clinical supervision and training of pre-doctoral practicum students in group therapy, individual therapy, and comprehensive psychological assessments and report writing.  Trained in trauma-focused CBT and a part of the Trauma Informed Care Committee. Program development and oversight of the Wellness and Self-Regulation Grant (an MHSA Innovations Grant) including outcomes assessment, fiscal oversight, and general program management. 

Pre-doctoral intern at APA accredited internship. Provided individual and family therapy for children and adolescents between the ages of 2-18 with emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal disorders. Performed intake assessments, treatment planning on service plans, and discharge planning. Administration, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments. Children presented with a range of clinical areas including anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, depression, bipolar, psychosis, and trauma. Trained in evidenced based practices of Trauma-Focused CBT and Seeking Safety. Miller Children’s Hospital: 6 month training rotation at Miller Children’s Hospital on the Pediatric Rehabilitation unit where conducted neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents with traumatic brain injury. 

Evaluated adolescents referred for potential placement for Special Education Services by administering, scoring, interpreting, and writing integrative reports from assessments of intelligence, cognitive abilities, achievement, personality, development, social and emotional functioning. Consulted and collaborated with parents, school staff, and outside agency personnel regarding mental health, behavioral, social-emotional, and educational concerns of adolescents ages 14-18. Participated in Individualized Education Plan meetings (IEP’s). 

Provided individual and family therapy for children between the ages of 5-18. Performed intake assessments, treatment planning on service plans, and discharge planning. Administration, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments which included integrated report writing. Participated in Individual Education Plan meetings (IEP’s), consulted with teachers, participated in weekly staff meetings, in-service trainings, case consultations, and supervision sessions. 

Provided short term crisis interventions for individuals under acute psychological distress. Provided psychological assessment, intake assessment, individual, milieu and group therapy in an inpatient setting to a wide variety of clients with minimal social and economic resources.
